We meet in Edinburgh on the second Thursday, Aberdeen on the third Thursday, and Glasgow on the fourth Thursday of every month, for an evening of food, drinks, geeky conversation and code; nothing too formal, no membership fees, no presentations, just socializing, discussing, coding, debugging, and the occasional bout of whining and rumor-mongering.
