CocoaHeads: Lake Forest, California Cocoa Programmers' Group

A Cocoa Head
Cocoa-heads Lake Forest meets (usually) on the second Wednesday of each month. While Cocoa is our core mandate, we are open to any topic of interest to Mac developers - XCode, Core Data, Bindings, as well as further afield topics like Java, Ruby, and Perl as they are implemented on MacOS X.

Please join our mailing lists, courtesy of SourceForge: cocoaheads-announce, a low-traffic moderated list for CocoaHeads-related announcements (such as upcoming meetings), and cocoaheads-discuss, open mailing list for Project and Cocoa-related discussion.

Also available are stylish CocoaHeads T-shirts available for $10 each. Contact Mark D. if you are interested.

Schedule:

The next CocoaHeads: Wednesday May 14, 2008 07:00 PM PST at Orange County Public Library (El Toro) community room, 24672 Raymond Way, Lake Forest, CA 92630.

CocoaHeads Lake Forest will be meeting on the second Wednesday in May. We will be meeting, as usual, in the community room of the El Toro branch of the Orange County Public Library at 24672 Raymond Way, Lake Forest, CA 92630.

Please join us from 7pm to 9pm on Wednesday, 5/14.

We will be examining sample code behind one of the key iPhone SDK APIs. If Apple updates the SDK NDA appropriately, we will also examine how these APIs work in practice

We will also discuss the newly iPhone-compatible Google GData API for Objective C.

Bring your comments, your books, and your bugs, and we will leap right in.

As always, details can be found on the cocoaheads web site at www.cocoaheads.org.

Thanks go to O'Reilly Media for providing us a copy of the Switching To The Mac, to be given away at the meeting.

If you need additional assistance, do not hesitate to contact Scott Ellsworth.

This official organizer of this regional CocoaHeads is Scott Ellsworth.
